Hi everyone! My name is Kirsten, here’s a little bit about me!

I specialize in everything bridal and balayage!

I fell in love with makeup when I was a young girl as I was exposed to it at dance recitals and performances. Growing up, I used to be that girl who loved to do everyone’s makeup and hair for any kind of event!

I’ve been in the beauty industry professionally since 2015. At first, I was self-taught, then I fully invested in myself and attended Makeup Designory in Burbank, CA. At the beginning of my career, I wasn’t too sure of what I wanted to specialize in, so I just dipped into everything- Short Films, Fashion Shows, Music Videos.. you name it and I have tried it. Shortly after makeup school, I did my first wedding and after that, I knew this is what I was meant to do. Bridal is definitely where my passion is and forever will be!

I also became a licensed cosmetologist in the state of California after attending Toni & Guy in Costa Mesa, CA. Along the way, I’ve dabbled into other things like being a makeup artist for Lancóme, and Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Newly, I am a brand ambassador for Cricket Tools and Luxy Hair Extensions. Always keeping up with the latest trends has been super important to me.

As of 2021, I officially opened my own salon studio in Southern California, Kirsten Gavina Artistry. I offer Balayage and other hair services on the weekdays here when I am not out doing weddings.
